
ISLAMABAD – Federal Minister for Human Rights Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar has taken serious notice of the alleged gang-rape of a woman inside a well-known shopping mall in the federal capital.
The minister has directed the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad to ensure a transparent, fair, and timely investigation in accordance with the law and to bring all responsible individuals to justice without delay.

Expressing deep concern over the disturbing incident, Tarar reiterated that the protection and dignity of women are central to the government’s human rights agenda.
He emphasized that law enforcement agencies must respond promptly and sensitively in such cases to uphold public trust and guarantee justice for victims.
