
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met with UN General Assembly President Annalena Baerbock on Saturday. They discussed important regional and global issues, including the Palestine conflict and urgent reforms needed in the United Nations. Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to peace and stability in the region and around the world. He emphasized that the Kashmir dispute must be resolved justly according to UN Security Council resolutions. The Foreign Office said that both leaders exchanged views on cooperation and proactive leadership for South Asia. In addition to Baerbock, Dar met foreign ministers from Malaysia and Morocco during the UNGA session. With Malaysian Foreign Minister Mohamad Hasan, Dar agreed to review economic ties and global issues in Kuala Lumpur next month. Both leaders expressed strong commitment to enhancing bilateral relations and working together in multilateral forums. Dar highlighted that Pakistan and Malaysia continue to grow their partnership steadily.
