Gold prices fall Rs200 per tola in Pakistan

Published on: September 13, 2025 3:34 PM

Gold prices in Pakistan fell by Rs200 per tola on Saturday. This decline followed a drop in international gold rates. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the local price reached Rs386,300 per tola.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs172, settling at Rs331,189. On Friday, gold prices had risen by Rs2,500 per tola to reach Rs386,500.

The international gold price also showed a slight decrease. It fell by $2 per ounce and stood at $3,643 with a premium of $20. This global dip impacted local markets and contributed to the fall in Pakistan’s gold rates. Traders and consumers reacted to these changes cautiously. The price movements reflect the volatile nature of global precious metal markets.

Along with gold, silver prices also fell on Saturday. Silver dropped by Rs13 per tola to Rs4,443, according to APGJSA. This simultaneous decrease in both metals shows a clear trend in the market. Investors and jewelers are closely watching these price fluctuations. They anticipate further changes depending on global economic conditions.
