The Institutional Quality Circle (IQC) meeting of MNS-UET Multan, chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Tahir Sultan, has approved a series of initiatives aimed at strengthening governance, academic quality, and operational efficiency.
Organised by the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), the meeting brought together academic and administrative heads. Key decisions included the formation of a Strategic Planning Committee, development of a Grievance Policy, implementation of 360-degree faculty evaluations, and the launch of digitisation efforts.
The meeting also approved the establishment of a Business Incubation Centre (BIC) to promote student entrepreneurship, and Turnitin access for all faculty members to uphold academic integrity.
The Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialisation (ORIC) was tasked with organising regular faculty training, building collaborations, and preparing an annual activity calendar to strengthen research capacity and industry engagement.
Prof Dr Tahir Sultan stressed the importance of stronger industrial collaboration, enhanced student support services, and more frequent IQC and Board of Studies meetings.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks to the chair.
