Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has decided to delay his planned protest movement for two weeks due to ongoing global circumstances. The decision was shared by his sister, Noreen Niazi, after meeting him at Adiala Jail.
Speaking to the media outside the jail, Noreen stated that Imran Khan is aware of the current international situation. He believes that during this sensitive time, Pakistan must stay united rather than divided by internal agitation.
Imran Khan’s other sister, Uzma Khan, also spoke to reporters. She emphasized that the world already knows where Imran Khan stands regarding Israel. His stance, she said, has always been clear and firm.
The postponement comes at a time when global conflicts, particularly in the Middle East, are intensifying. Political observers see this move as a calculated pause, showing Imran Khan’s awareness of both national and international dynamics.
PTI supporters had been preparing for a fresh round of protests. However, the party’s leadership has now indicated that future steps will align with the country’s broader interests in light of the changing global landscape.
