Pakistan's Tech Prowess Shines at Collision Canada

Toronto, Canada – Pakistan’s burgeoning tech industry demonstrated its significant potential at Collision Canada 2023 (June 26-29). The dedicated Pakistan Pavilion hosted fourteen leading firms, each showcasing cutting-edge innovations that captivated attendees. The official inauguration of the pavilion, attended by Consul General Mr. Khalil Bajwa, TIC Mr. Azhar Hussain, and P@SHA CEC member Mr. Azam Mughal, served as a testament to Pakistan’s growing influence within the global tech community.

Collision Canada, a premier annual tech event, draws over 40,000 attendees eager to explore the latest technological advancements and connect with industry leaders. This year’s event, the largest Collision to date, boasted over 700 speakers, 2,000 startups, 950 investors, and representatives from 140 countries, providing a truly global platform for Pakistani companies to shine.

Among the impressive displays was Nucleus Chain, an innovative Blockchain Layer 2 solution presented by Mr. Umar and the Relymer Group team. Their presence at the conference was marked by proactive engagement, with the team distributing gifts to attendees, investors, and venture capitalists to generate buzz around their blockchain venture.

“We were thrilled to participate and showcase our local product on an international stage,” shared a representative from Relymer Group. “This valuable experience provided invaluable insights, allowing us to gather crucial feedback from the global market and refine our product accordingly. We eagerly anticipate sharing more exciting news and unveiling our launch plans soon.”

The conference offered Pakistani tech firms a unique opportunity to connect with potential partners, investors, and customers, fostering valuable relationships and opening doors to new markets. The Pakistan Pavilion served as a hub of activity, showcasing the breadth and depth of talent within the country’s tech sector.

Beyond the conference floor, the Pakistani delegation actively sought opportunities for collaboration and growth. A tech delegation from Pakistan visited Brampton’s Economic Development Office during Collision 2023, exploring potential avenues for business partnerships and investment. These meetings highlighted the interest in fostering stronger ties between Pakistan and Canada, particularly within the rapidly evolving tech landscape.

Collision Canada is part of a prestigious series of global technology conferences, including Web Summit in Europe and Rio de Janeiro. The 2023 event underscored the increasing importance of Pakistan as a key player in the global tech community. The presence of these 14 firms at Collision Canada signals a significant step forward for the Pakistani tech ecosystem, demonstrating its readiness to compete on a global scale and drive innovation in the years to come.
