KHAIRPUR: Former Sindh Chief Minster Qaim Ali Shah has said future of nation and country depends on educated youth and we require more doctors, engineers, IT engineers and agriculture experts for development of country.
Addressing a cheque distribution event to needy students at Mehran Engineering College of Technology Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Khairpur Qaim told that under vision of Shaheed ZA Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto, Peoples Party leaders were being tasked to work for the welfare of the society. He assured audience for upgrading Engineering College to University level.
Imtaiz Malah, Lal Bux Mangi, Professor Dr Mir Akhtar Hussain Talpur and a number of teachers, students and notables were present on the occasion.
Meanwhile, Nafeesa Shah PPP member of National Assembly and Vice President PPP Sindh has urged medics to take efforts for elimination of hepatitis virus.
Addressing a meeting of anti hepatitis programme at Tando Musti, she urged district health officer, DEO Khairpur, NGOs, social workers and others to come forward and play their respective roles for providing awareness about vaccination and protective measures for end hepatitis in district.
She warned health department of strict legal action in case of failing of their responsibility in this regard.
