Haval HEV – unscathed and ready to tackle it all!

Published on: December 22, 2023 6:11 PM

Last year in November 2022, due to a strategic alliance between GWM (Great Wall Motor) and SEWL (SAZGAR Engineering Works Limited), we witnessed the brand HAVAL launch in Pakistan. This marked a highly successful collaboration for the industry and consumer base alike.

The most impressive vehicle in Haval’s lineup is the Haval H6 HEV (Pakistan’s first every locally assembled hybrid SUV – launched in November of 2022). The vehicle gained the first mover advantage in the ever so changing automobile landscape, and since then has become the most wanted SUV option in Pakistan.

“Hybrid and Electric vehicles are the future… and we are very proud to be spearheading this EV revolution in Pakistan by bringing the first ever locally assembled hybrid to the country”, said Mian Ammar Hameed, Executive Director Marketing at SAZGAR.

Despite being in the market for almost a year and being the first ever locally assembled hybrid, Haval H6 HEV is finally getting some competition in the hybrid domain – namely from Hyundai’s Santa Fe and the recently launched Toyota Corolla Cross. However, neither of them have truly challenged the Haval HEV’s strong market position. This is further elaborated by this comparison with Corolla Cross as follows:

Haval has very recently launched their very own TVC as well, and we must say that the composition and the quality of the film is absolutely top notch! This is as out of the box as it can get, and this film is certainly a breath of fresh air in Pakistani automotive advertising. The commitment to quality sends a strong message that the company means business.

The TV advertisement showcases the vehicle emerging from a dramatic lightning storm, symbolizing the seamless fusion of the raw electric power of the vehicle combined with a world class hybrid engine system under a sophisticated and sleek exterior.
