NAUNDERO: The residents of village Izzat Ji Wandh located in the limits of Ketty Mumtaz police station held a protest demonstration at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Press Club, Naudero on Monday against the highhandedness of an influential person, Muhammad Azim Khokhar. Mehar Ali Khokhar, Atta Muhammad, Allah Warayo Narejo, Sardar Shaikh and other protesters while talking to media said that a son of Azim Khokhar was killed some time ago and he lodged his murder case against us accusing us of the crime but, they added, during an out of court jirga his allegation was proved false & fabricated but even then he did not stop his nefarious designs and continued pressurizing us along with his other sons. They said that some time ago they also burnt his house down and hurled allegation against us but that too was proved wrong after an inquiry was conducted by DSP Naundero, Muhammad Sami Vaseer. They further alleged that he along with his sons continuously harasses us by firing at our houses regularly when the inmates are away from the homes for earning a livelihood. They demanded protection and strict legal action against Azim Khokhar & his sons so that they can live in peace & harmony.
