LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif met Federal Railways Minister Kh Saad Rafique on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said that there was no room for politics of anarchy and confrontation in this present critical situation. He said that unity, consensus and solidarity were the needed and those involved in politics of confrontation should show a responsible attitude. He said that personal interests have no importance compared to national interests. The CM said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz government has always upheld national interests and adopted a unanimous strategy over important national issues with the consultation of national leadership and it was improper on part of the defeated elements to try to achieve personal ends on vital national issues. He said that there was a need to promote national unity and solidarity instead of anarchy and confrontation. Shahbaz said that national leadership has displayed unprecedented unity and harmony for adopting a unanimous stance over increasing brutalities against unarmed Kashmiris and violation on Line of Control by India.
