ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) criticise the government over the decision to hold an inquiry into the news leak issue through a committee to be headed by a retired high court judge. Talking to the media on Sunday, PTI Secretary Information Naeemul Haq said that the head of the committee should be a serving judge of the Supreme Court and the inquiry committee should also be given a right to question Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. Meanwhile, PAT chief Dr. Tahir ul Qadri termed the government’s decision as a ‘joke with the national security,’ claiming that the job is being given to a retired judge to give the government a clean chit.
