Sir: It is a fact that a leader plays a tremendous role in the development of a nation. He always leads the nation in a majestic way to put the country on the path of progress. In fact, a true leader is he who always thinks about ways and means to bring reforms in the country. But it is very painful to note that today our country is facing a severe leadership crisis. Pakistan has been facing multiple problems and not making progress as required. Our leaders give priority to their own interests and put the country at the back stage. Among these leaders, many are involved in corruption and they are busy plundering the national resources with both hands. However, no one is taking action against these corrupt elements. They are the main hurdle to the development of the country. I request the entire nation not to vote such so-called leaders whose sole purpose is to make money and who have no interest in the development of the country. SHAKEEL PHULLAN Via Email
