PESHAWAR: The medical experts have revealed that one out of ten patients admitted in hospital needs blood additionally, every two seconds one bag of blood is required in different cases throughout Pakistan. The experts share the medical opinion while talking to the participants of blood donation camp organized by Khyber Medical University-Institute of Physical Medicine &Rehabilitation in collaboration with Regional Blood Centre Peshawar. Talking to donors Prof Dr Shah Taj, Manager Regional Blood Centre, said adult male has 70ml/kg where as a normal female has 67 ml/kg blood. He said an adult male can donate after every three months 4 times in a year while adult and healthy females can donate three times blood every four months interval.
