ISLAMABAD: An Investiture ceremony was held at Air Headquarters Islamabad in which non-operational military awards were conferred upon officers including airmen and civilians of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) for their distinguished services. Pakistan Air Force Vice-Chief of the Air Staff Air Marshal Saeed Muhammad Khan was the chief guest on the occasion. In the ceremony, chief of the air staff commendation certificates were conferred upon 112 PAF personnel including officers, airmen and civilians. Nine proficiency excellence badges awarded to PAF Officers, eight Tamgha-i-Khidmat (Military) Class-II and three Tamgha-i-Khidmat (Military) Class-III were conferred upon airmen. These awards are given in recognition of the acts of extreme devotion to duty rendered by the officers, airmen and civilians of Pakistan Air Force for positively contributing towards the overall efficiency and dedication to the service. A large number of high-ranking PAF officers and personnel attended the ceremony. Similar ceremonies were also held at northern, southern and central air commands of Pakistan Air Force.
