Politics killed Humanity In Kashmir!

Published on: January 31, 2020 12:34 AM

Kashmir conflict continues to brew between Pakistan and India. The issue was first raised after the partition of India in 1947. The partition agenda holds that the partition was based on majority, and the majority of the Kashmiris were Muslims so as per the rules, Kashmir is a part of Pakistan. However, India does not acknowledge the phenomenon.

Maharaja Hari Singh wanted Kashmir to be a part of India. Thus, he appealed to India for help. While the conflict is between Pakistan and India, China also plays the role of a third party on this issue. To date, three wars have been fought over Kashmir but all went in vain. Meanwhile, the United Nations Security Council also intervened, albeit unsuccessfully, to solve the Kashmir issue. The US wishes to benefit from the normal relations between Pakistan and India. However, Kashmir remains an unfinished part of the Pak-India Partition. So, Jammu and Kashmir continue to struggle for identity, as the partition in 1947 had made it clear that Kashmir belonged to Pakistan.

The flag of Kashmir also shows the symbol of its identity. Kashmir wants its own identity but no one wishes to resolve this issue. Kashmir owns a symbol of peace, and its flag also shows this identity.

Article 370 guaranteed a special status to Jammu and Kashmir while legitimate India said that it was a bioelectric issue. On the other hand, Pakistan’s agenda is that India occupied the valley of Kashmir.

Kashmir stands as a basic issue between Pakistan and India, but no one wishes to take this issue seriously. A good thing has come in the form of a hopeful statement coming from Pakistani Prime Minister, Imran Khan. He took the step forward and has rendered his efforts to resolve this issue.

Khan has said to the world this issue was very complicated and needed to be taken on a serious note.

Abbassi described Kashmir as an unfinished agenda of the partition. He also said Pakistan would continue to extend its support to the Kashmiri people.

Pakistan is a frontline state against the global war of terrorism and thus needs to resolve the Kashmir dispute

Khawaja Asif called it a ‘’core dispute” in the national assembly.

Pakistan is a frontline state against the global war of terrorism and thus needs to resolve the Kashmir dispute. For this purpose, Pakistan even held an international conference in the US; sending Mehmood Qureshi and Tahir Javed for deliberations.

They said this issue needed international attention. To divert the attention from the situation in Kashmir, India blamed Pakistan for staging false flags. The fact is that Kashmir has become an internationally recognised disputed territory and will remain as such. The prime minister of Pakistan said that the Kashmir issue was unignorable and so shouldn’t be taken lightly. He introduced this issue in front of the world at the UN Summit. Khan said to Donald Trump that the Kashmir issue was very sensitive and complicated.

He added, ”Regional peace is not possible in the situation.”

On social media, he tweeted that the world had accepted the anti-democratic and fascist ideology of occupied Kashmir. Through its contentious policies, India had shown the division within itself. He also added that the Kashmir issue was not as easy as we considered.

This statement of Imran Khan is very satisfactory and acceptable.

Khan wants to resolve this issue peacefully while he has no idea whether his effort will work. Still, he is trying.

The people of Kashmir continue to suffer. Too many children and youngsters have been killed but no one has taken the step to stop this humility. As human beings, we all have to raise the voice against humility and stop this violation. Together, we can change the world.

Kashmir is a noticeable issue, so the world must take action. At a rally in the western Indian state of Maharashtra, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated it would take four months for the Kashmir issue to set back to normal.

“I reassure you that it would not take more than four months to systemize the critical situation that has to keep going for 50 years,” Modi stated at the rally, speaking in Hindi.

“Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh aren’t just a piece of land for us,” Modi said, an allusion to the region bordering China. Millions of people have been taken into custody; held without a lawsuit by the Indian authorities and proceeded to jails far from home. As a conservative estimate, 3,000 people have been taken under the custody of the Public Safety Act (PSA), which permits for the imprisonment of up to two years without a court case. In spite of many commitments made by the Indian government, particularly by Jawaharlal Nehru in the 1950s, the right of self-reliance continues to be ignored.

Meanwhile, Pakistan has asserted Kashmir as its constitutive part with much eagerness as India pushed it since its independence in 1947. But as it is quoted, it’s good to have an intelligent enemy than a stupid friend. In the past years, Pakistan has played a dominant role in disfiguring the Kashmiri freedom movement as much as India has stoked it up by a persistent usage of authority in the valley.

Pakistani Government urged the world to put out the Kashmir issue to the International Court of Justice on the account of the Myanmar verdict. This case referred to the unlawful acts committed by the Myanmar regime against the Rohingya Muslims, which were also inquired by the UN. The Myanmar regime was suspected of committing inhumanities against Rohingya Muslims, including unjust killings and inhumane torture. In its judgment, the ICJ ordered Myanmar must entail an emergency to give the protection to Rohingya Muslims to mark them safe from violence and atrocities.

In a united authority, the International Court of Justice denied the arguments made by Myanmar’s civilian head Aung San Suu Kyi in The Hague this December and started urgent steps for the Myanmar government to decommission this act of barbarity against Rohingya Muslims. Akram Sheikh was one of the men who presented his view that the ICJ judgment would set in motion a procedure of liability in the whole Asia-Pacific region, involving India, for the barbaric violations of international humanitarian and human rights laws.

He stated it was expected to be an honourable day in the record of the international community’s accountability for victims of international, humanitarian and human rights violations worldwide and to make a start for a trend of global state liability.

Our Foreign Minister, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, stated in his recent address: “India is acting deceitfully. It is trying to create a false impression in the world suggesting that Pakistan is exaggerating the facts.”

“They continue to say: ‘The ground realities are completely the opposite. Things have normalised’,” said Qureshi in a press conference in Islamabad.

He also mentioned in his address, “Put up an act or two,” wherefore they “arranged” a visit for Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) and selected 14 to 15 delegates for a tour to Srinagar where there was no free access available to the area or convenience to interact or communicate with Kashmiris. Qureshi highlighted the fact that 175 days had passed and still, Kashmir was in lockdown or under a curfew under Indian authorities.

“This message (campaign) is not just for Pakistanis but for those across the Line of Control who continue to remain under a communication lockdown.”

Our religion or ideology is one of the major reasons for the Kashmir issue. Mostly, people of Kashmir are Muslims. Though the Kashmir reign has its customs, tradition or cultural identity, Sufism is used to act towards both religions equally. Premature owners of Kashmir led to unfair policies or public injustice at the hands of the supremacy.

Still, our nations are facing critical situations due to their conflicts. India is always ready for war or offence against the militants. On the contrary, Pakistan is always ready to defend or preserve. This issue has been one of the major conflicts in the Far East since 1947. People of both countries seem ever ready to take action against each other, but this is not the right way to solve this issue. Kashmir has become a place of war, disunion and terrorism. Some terrorists attacked India directly and then indirectly used the ways to show the whole world that Kashmir was also a terrorist part of Pakistan. The Kashmir issue will likely remain irresolvable since the UN has removed it from the list of the long-running conflicts. No bright future can be presumed in the Kashmir Valley.
