Mehwish shares bloopers from ‘Chhalawa’

Published on: June 3, 2019 11:03 PM

Actress Mehwish Hayat’s upcoming film ‘Chhalawa’ is all set to tickle your funny bones this Eidul Fitr. Excited about the film, Mehwish Hayat shared with fans the goof-ups during the course of the shooting.

An organic, desi love story with comic punch lines is certain to make Eid holidays more entertaining.

Hayat Tweeted a selection of bloopers for fans to enjoy.

‘These bloopers show how much fun we all had making our new movie ‘Chhalawa’. Here’s a selection for you to enjoy. I hope that you’ll equally enjoy watching the movie this Eid. Coming to a cinema near you I promise it’ll really tickle your funny bones,” she posted.

‘Chhalawa’ is an exciting family film all set to entertain us this Eidul Fitr! The premiere of ‘Chhalawa’ was star studded and the event took place on Sunday at Nueplex. This light hearted film showcases the amazing cast such as the beautiful Hayat, the dapper Azfar Rehman along with the very cute Zara Noor Abbas-Siddiqui and the very good looking Asad Siddiqui, along with Mehmood Aslam and Ashir Wajahat in pivotal roles with many other reputed names of the industry.

Ahad Raza Mir, Maya Ali, Asim Azhar, Hania Amir, Farhan Saeed, Urwa Hocane, Bushra Ansari and Deepak Perwani walked the red carpet for ‘Chhalawa’ along with other well-known names of the industry plus socialites, journalists and media channels.

‘Chhalawa’ is a fun-filled roller coaster ride. The plot is about a girl Zoya whose character is played by Hayat who wants to have her ‘happily ever after’ but is forced to tie the knot with her not-so-worthy cousin. She’s fierce, she’s emotional and above all, she’s head strong.

Apart from her, Azfar Rehman plays the role of Sameer – a city boy who falls in love with the simple girl and will go an extra mile to be with her and in that process; he learns the importance of love. He’s funny, romantic and passionate about Zoya. The excellent chemistry between Hayat and Rehman is visible in the film.

Moreover, Zara Noor Abbas-Siddiqui who plays the role of Haya gave us major Bushra Ansari vibes in the film with her top-notch Punjabi accent and goofy role while she romances her way with Asad Siddiqi.
