Pakistan’s Falcon

Published on: December 31, 2016 11:00 PM

Sir: The Quetta born, 29-year-old boxer Muhammad Waseem is currently WBC Silver Flyweight Champion. Known for his swift style of boxing he is also known as ‘Falcon Khan’. He is the first South Asian boxer to win the boxing title and has achieved this milestone in just four matches which is a world record. He began his professional boxing career in 2015 and since then he has played four professional fights and won all of them.

Despite this magnificent performance, he has not been extended required financial and moral support within his own homeland. He has some attractive offers of nationality from foreign countries but his love for Pakistan is not allowing him to accept those offers. He is our true hero. As a nation we should support and appreciate this falcon, so he can fly high to the skies.
