Acappella is a type of music created without instrumental accompaniment, with all sounds made by one’s voice, mouth and claps. The production for such compositions involves a group which brings forward their input and creates a unique melody in harmony with the help of their vocals as they replace instruments with human sounds and claps.

I am proud to say that my country doesn’t lag in this sphere as well. ‘Strepsils Stereo’ has to be Pakistan’s first music platform that has presented the concept of Acappella. Since their first song release “Khayal Rakhna”, the platform has maintained its popularity and has gained recognition, love and support with popular tracks including “Mera Pakistan”, “Dil Jo Chahe” and “Rang De”. The most recent track “Billo” has won everyone’s hearts with its festivity, composition and a fun groove that makes one tap their feet to the beat!

The most recent hit “Billo” was sung beautifully by Ahsan Pervez and Mehak Ali who have explored a range of tonality and pitch to make this groovy track.
