Easy to make sweet treats for your significant other

Dark Chocolate Mousse is a Continental recipe made using dark chocolate, egg, espresso, heavy cream, sugar and whipped cream. It is a melt-in-the-mouth dessert recipe that you can try on special occasions like Valentine’s Day, birthdays and anniversaries.

Ingredients

1/2 cup finely chopped, melted dark chocolate

1/4 cup Espresso coffee

1 teaspoon sugar

2 eggs

1/3 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup whipped cream

How to make Dark Chocolate Mousse

Step 1 – beat the egg yolks and sugar till pale yellow. Add the melted chocolate and espresso. Mix well.

Step 2 – in a separate bowl, beat the cream till stiff peaks form. Add this to the chocolate and mix. Beat the egg whites till stiff peaks form.

Step 3 – add this to the chocolate and mix thoroughly. Spoon the chocolate mousse into dessert bowls and keep in the fridge for 4 hours.

Step 4 – garnish with whipped cream. Serve.

 

Orange Chocolate Mousse is an indulging dessert recipe made with orange, egg, chocolate, and sugar. Perfect for house parties and family gathering, this dessert is loved by people of all age groups.

Ingredients

2 eggs

1 orange

1 1/2 cup boiled water

125 gm grated cooking chocolate

4 tablespoon sugar

How to make Orange Chocolate Mousse

Step 1 – separate the eggs. Grate the chocolate.

Step 2 – grate the orange rind and extract one tablespoon of juice. Place the egg yolks in a bowl and whisk until well blended.

Step 3 – add the orange rind along with sugar. Place the bowl over hot water and whisk until thick and creamy.

Step 4 – allow the mixture to cool and blend in the orange juice. When quite cold, whisk the egg whites in a bowl until stiff peaks form.

Step 5 – gently fold the egg whites into the chocolate mixture. Pour into small bowls and place it in the fridge until chilled.

Step 6 – garnish as you like and serve.

 

Chocolate Glazing Donuts is an American recipe. You can surprise your loved ones with this dessert recipe on, Christmas, game nights and dates! Indulge in this dessert if you want to impress your guests and treat their taste buds with this sumptuous sweet dish!

Ingredients

1 1/2 cup flour

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1 cup egg

1 tablespoon butter

3 tablespoon boiled water

1 tablespoon butter

2 teaspoon dry yeast

1/4 cup water

1/4 cup milk

200 gm icing sugar

7 tablespoon cocoa powder

How to make Chocolate Glazing Donuts

Step 1 – mix 1/2 teaspoon sugar to 1/4 cup warm water. Add yeast and cover the cup. Invert an empty deep pan on the cup to keep it warm. Wait for 15 minutes till it rises and gets frothy. If it does not rise, discard it and start with a fresh packet of yeast.

Step 2 – put maida, egg and sugar in a bowl. Add the frothy yeast and mix well. Knead into a soft dough using some milk if required.

Step 3 – add softened butter and knead again till the dough is smooth and elastic. (3-5 minutes).

Step 4 – put in a greased polythene. Cover with an inverted empty deep pan again and keep in a warm place to swell. Once the dough rises, punch down the dough. Knead again for 10 minutes.

Step 5 – roll out dough to 1/4″ thickness. Cut out 3″ diametre circles with a cookie cutter or a bottle lid. Using a tiny cookie cutter or a very small lid, cut out the centre of each round, to create a hole in the centre. Make such donuts and cover with a wet muslin cloth for 5-10 minutes.

Step 6 – to fry – heat fresh oil in a karrahi. Reduce heat. Deep fry two-three pieces at a time on low heat till golden on both sides.

Step 7 – for the chocolate glaze, sift the icing sugar. Put cocoa in a stainless steel bowl. Add boiling hot water to cocoa and mix well. Add icing sugar and butter. Boil one” water in a small saucepan. Reduce heat. Place the bowl of icing sugar on it. Melt sugar, stirring occasionally. Remove from fire.

Step 8 – dip one side of the donut in it and place on an aluminium sheet with the chocolate side up. Cool until chocolate sets.
