SHIKARPUR: The police arrested a suspected murderer from Hingorja, a town of Khairpur district, on Sunday, who killed his son-in-law over a monetary issue.
According to a report, police found a tortured body of a man on Friday which was later identified as Shoukat Ali Brohi at a hospital in Garhi Yasin. He was a resident of Ranipur, who worked as a farmer in the fields of Wahid Bukhash Brohi, a local landlord of the village.
After investigations, police arrested his father-in-law Ghulam Ali Brohi, who also worked as a farmer for the same landlord. Police claimed that the accused confessed his crime and buried Shoukat Ali Brohi after killing him.
Meanwhile, police lodged a case against him and two other men on the complaint of Liaquat Ali Brohi, brother of the deceased.
Furthermore, police started further investigation into the matter.
