KHAIRPUR: The City Traffic Police (CTP) on Wednesday undertook a special drive against the offences committed by motorists. Many passenger wagons were impounded running on CNG kits and Challans were issued to 929 vehicles and Rs198350 was recovered, the statement said.
According to a report, senior superintendent of police (SSP) ordered Ali Sher Sheikh, the traffic police in charge, to launch a crackdown against traffic violations in the city and enforce rules on public transporters.
Meanwhile, the inspector Ali Sher vowed to continue the crackdown until the traffic rules are fully obeyed by the public transporters and the general public.
