Pakistan and Russia reaffirmed their commitment to strengthen bilateral cooperation during a meeting between Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Manila. The discussions focused on expanding ties in key sectors. The meeting highlighted both countries’ efforts to deepen diplomatic and economic relations.
Dar met Lavrov ahead of the 33rd ASEAN Regional Forum Ministerial Meeting. According to Pakistan’s Foreign Office, the ministers reviewed bilateral relations and discussed trade, energy, connectivity, and cooperation in multilateral forums. They also pledged to strengthen coordination.

The two leaders stressed the importance of sustained high-level engagement to advance the Pakistan-Russia partnership.
