A firing incident in Mastung’s Dasht area left an LPG bowser driver dead and two others injured, while armed attackers set three LPG tankers on fire, police said.
According to police officials, the attack took place at a hotel where an LPG bowser driver and other individuals were present. Armed assailants opened fire at the location, resulting in the death of the driver and injuries to two people nearby.

Following the shooting, the attackers reportedly targeted three parked LPG bowsers and set them ablaze before fleeing the scene. The incident caused panic in the area as flames spread from the vehicles, prompting emergency services to respond.
Rescue teams and fire brigade personnel reached the site after receiving information about the attack. Firefighters worked to control the blaze and prevent further damage from the burning LPG tankers.
Police said the bodies of the deceased and the injured victims were shifted to a nearby hospital. The injured individuals were provided medical treatment, while authorities began collecting evidence from the scene.
The attackers escaped after carrying out the assault, and law enforcement agencies have launched an investigation to determine the motive behind the attack and identify those responsible.
Mastung, located in Balochistan, has witnessed several security incidents in recent years, including attacks targeting civilians, security personnel and infrastructure. Authorities have frequently increased security measures in the region to counter militant activities and maintain law and order.
