Frankie Muniz’s ex Paige defends him after he deletes divorce announcement video

Published on: July 6, 2026 3:00 AM

Not everyone was happy with how Frankie Muniz and Paige Price shifted into a new gear.

After the couple announced their decision to divorce after six years of marriage with a heartfelt note and lighthearted dance video, the way they shared the news was met with enough criticism by social media users that Muniz deleted the post.

After he reshared the statement alongside a still photo of him, Price and their 5-year-old son Maus Mosley Muniz, his ex weighed in.

“Frankie, I am so sorry that you felt the need to delete an old fun video of our family because people are so cruel to you,” she wrote in the comment section of his July 1 post. “This world is so f–ked.” “Divorce is bad, sure – it’s not like we’re excited about it” she continued. “But we’re two adults who know how to be on the same team. I can’t believe people could scrutinize that.”

And other people in the comments agreed.

“I liked the first announcement better with you guys dancing,” one user wrote, while another added, “The video was lovely. As a child who survived a bad divorce, it was healing to see 2 people who love each other and themselves & walking through it together.”

After all, as the Malcolm in the Middle star’s statement revealed, there are no bad feelings between Muniz and Price, who noted they’d come to the decision to divorce after a private separation.

“After 10 beautiful years together, we’ve grown in ways that made us realize our relationship feels most natural and strong as a deep friendship and as co-parents,” he wrote. “We share an incredible son who remains the center of our world, and we’re both happier, stronger parents because of the love and growth we’ve shared.”

The 40-year-old added that he is “endlessly grateful” to Price for being by his side throughout his career, adding, “She put her own dreams on hold so I could chase mine and she was always my biggest supporter. That foundation of respect and friendship isn’t going anywhere.”
