Parliamentarians laud PM for his successful peace efforts

Parliamentarians from both houses, Monday, appreciated Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif for his successful efforts in securing global and regional peace. During their meetings, the Members of the National Assembly and Senate paid tribute to the prime minister for his hectic efforts. The parliamentarians included MNA Agha Rafiullah, MNA Ijaz Hussain Jakhrani, MNA Zulfiqar Bhindar, MNA Ali Jan Mazari, MNA Samar Haroon Bilour, Senator Mir Dostain Khan Domki, MNA Nadeem Abbas Rabera, MNA Dr. Sadaf Ihsanullah, MNA Chaudhary Usman and MNA Muhammad Idrees, who separately called on the prime minister at the Parliament House, PM Office Media Wing said in a press release. Federal Minister for Public Affairs Unit Rana Mubashir Iqbal and Special Assistant Talha Burki also attended these meetings. The members said that under the prime minister’s leadership, the national flag gained historic recognition and Pakistan’s stature was elevated among the nations of the world. The prime minister reciprocated the sentiments expressed by the members of the parliament. During their meetings, the members of parliament opined that under the prime minister’s leadership, Pakistan achieved historic respect among the international community and that peace in the region became possible due to Pakistan’s efforts. They also reaffirmed their commitment to continue playing an active role under the prime minister’s leadership in safeguarding the national interests and advancing the agenda of country’s development and prosperity. Separately, Chaudhary Nawaz Ahmed, MPA Punjab, also called on the prime minister.
