Four persons were killed in a firing incident in the Jabbar Khail area of Lakki Marwat district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on Monday, according to police sources cited by local television channels. Initial reports said that unidentified gunmen opened fire on the victims, killing all four on the spot. Following the incident, a police team reached the scene and shifted the bodies to a nearby hospital to complete legal formalities. Police have launched a search operation in the area to trace and arrest the attackers.
Four men shot dead in Khanewal: Four men were shot dead by unidentified assailants at Niazi Chowk on Monday. The victims, Zaka Ullah, Ismail Khan, Majeed and Hidayat Ullah Khan, all residents of 30/10R Kacha Koh were travelling in a car to attend a court hearing when they were ambushed and killed. District Police Officer (DPO) Muhammad Abid reached the scene immediately after receiving information. SP Shahid Rasheed, DSP Saddar Saeed Siyal, police personnel and a forensic team were also deployed at the site. Police cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to trace the suspects. Investigators are collecting evidence, reviewing CCTV footage and recording statements of eyewitnesses to establish the motive.
