KP introduces E-Baldiyah system

Published on: June 13, 2026 6:40 AM

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Local Government Department has made the implementation of the E-Baldiyah System mandatory across all local government institutions in the province to improve financial transparency, governance and monitoring of development projects.

According to an official notification received on Friday, all relevant local bodies have been directed to ensure the complete implementation of the system by July 1, 2026, or earlier. The new digital platform will integrate financial and administrative operations, including a computerized financial management system, into a unified framework. The system includes several modern modules, such as: Computerized Financial Management Information System (CFMIS), E-Auction System; Solid Waste Management System; Ehsaas Baldiyah Complaint Management System, Immovable Property Management System, Movable Asset Management System and Annual Development Program (ADP) Management System. Through these modules, local government institutions will be able to manage financial affairs, sanitation services, public complaints, government assets, and development projects from a single digital platform.

The notification clearly states that any delay, obstruction, or lack of interest in implementing the system will result in disciplinary and administrative action under the relevant rules and regulations. All local government institutions have also been instructed to submit progress reports regarding the preparation, installation and implementation of the system to the Local Government Department within the prescribed timeframe. Officials say the initiative is aimed at strengthening transparency, accountability and efficient service delivery across local governments in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
