Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said India has failed to accept its defeat against Pakistan. He claimed India is now discussing “Operation Sindoor 2” and seeking to weaken Pakistan. His remarks came during a parliamentary party meeting while discussing national security and the federal budget.
Addressing party lawmakers, Bilawal said Pakistan faced significant security challenges over the past year. He argued that regional tensions remained a key concern for the country. According to him, these challenges also influenced the environment in which the new budget was prepared.
Bilawal claimed India launched aggression against Pakistan last year but failed to achieve its objectives. He said India was still struggling to come to terms with the outcome. He further alleged that Indian policymakers were now considering new strategies under the banner of “Operation Sindoor 2.”
The PPP chairman emphasized that national security must remain a top priority. He noted that governments often prepare budgets under difficult circumstances. He added that security concerns were among the most significant challenges facing Pakistan at present.
Bilawal also linked economic planning with national stability and security. He said Pakistan must remain united in addressing external challenges. His comments came as lawmakers continued debating the federal budget and the country’s broader policy priorities.
