
Mohsin Naqvi on Friday praised the efforts of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Balochistan after four suspected terrorists were killed during an operation in the Sorkhab Camp area of Pishin district.

According to official statements, the operation was carried out by CTD Balochistan against militants identified as members of Fitna al-Khawarij. Authorities said the action was conducted successfully and helped prevent possible militant activities in the region.
Mohsin Naqvi commended the professionalism and timely response of the CTD personnel involved in the operation. He said the successful action reflected the commitment and preparedness of law enforcement agencies in combating terrorism and maintaining security in the province.
The interior minister stated that the entire nation was proud of the bravery and dedication shown by CTD Balochistan officers during the operation. He added that the security forces had effectively foiled the alleged plans of the militants through swift and coordinated action.
Naqvi also paid tribute to the complete CTD team for carrying out the operation and neutralising the suspects. He reiterated the government’s resolve to continue counterterrorism efforts across the country and support security institutions working against militant threats.
Balochistan has witnessed several security challenges in recent years, prompting authorities to intensify intelligence-based operations in different districts. Security forces and law enforcement agencies have continued operations aimed at preventing attacks and maintaining law and order in sensitive areas.

Officials did not immediately release further operational details regarding the identities of the suspects or whether any weapons and explosives were recovered during the raid.
