
Aamir Khan has confirmed that a sequel to the blockbuster film 3 Idiots is officially in development, sparking major excitement among fans. The announcement is significant as it revives one of Indian cinema’s most popular franchises more than a decade after the original release.
According to Aamir Khan, the sequel is being developed around the original characters and is set roughly 10 years after the events of the first film. He revealed that he has already heard the script, although it is still undergoing refinements.

Moreover, the project is being handled by the original creative team, including director Rajkumar Hirani and writer Abhijat Joshi. Aamir said Hirani is fully focused on shaping the sequel and described the storyline as well developed.
