
The White House has clarified that US President Donald Trump has not set any fixed deadline for a ceasefire with Iran. The statement comes amid reports suggesting a three to five-day timeframe for diplomatic progress. Officials emphasized that the decision on timing rests with the president.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt rejected claims of a strict deadline for negotiations. She said earlier reports about a set timeline were inaccurate. According to her, Trump will decide developments in his capacity as commander in chief.

Furthermore, the United States said it is giving Iran a few days to present a unified proposal. During this period, a temporary ceasefire arrangement is expected to continue. Washington is currently awaiting Tehran’s formal response.
