Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has formally inaugurated the Punjab Police Pakistan App, enabling citizens to report the loss of essential documents from the comfort of their homes.
Through this app, citizens can register reports for lost identity cards, passports, driving licenses, and other important documents without visiting a police station or service center. Upon submission, the loss report will also be delivered to the applicant at home.
The “Punjab Police Pakistan App” will facilitate citizens across the province in lodging complaints regarding lost valuable documents in a timely and convenient manner, resulting in significant savings of both time and resources.
Expressing satisfaction over the launch, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif stated that leveraging modern technology to provide ease to the public remains a key priority of the government. She reaffirmed that steering Punjab towards innovation and progress is among the foremost objectives of her administration.
Separately, Maryam Nawaz has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the death of four people in a collision between a truck and a rickshaw in Multan.
The Chief Minister extended her heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the bereaved families and also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.She further directed the concerned authorities to ensure the best possible medical treatment for the injured.
