PSL Karachi leg set to start from April 9 as teams arrive

Published on: April 5, 2026 3:32 AM

Karachi Kings’ players on Saturday arrived in the city to play its HBL PSL 11 fixtures, starting from April 9. The players except for Hasan Ali, David Warner and Adam Zampa have reached Karachi.

These remaining three players will join other team players very soon after fulfilling some family commitments. It is pertinent to mention that Karachi Kings will play its 1st match of Karachi leg against Peshawar Zalmi on April 09. Lahore Qalandars have arrived in Karachi with their full squad and management, marking the start of an important phase in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The team will be stationed in Karachi for the next two weeks and is set to play four matches at the National Bank Stadium. Lahore Qalandars will take on Islamabad United on April 9 in a day fixture, followed by Peshawar Zalmi on April 11, also a day game.

The side will then face Quetta Gladiators on April 17 in a night encounter, before concluding the Karachi leg against Rawalpindi on April 18 (night game).

Lahore Qalandars head into this phase with positive momentum beating Hyderabad Kingsmen and Multan Sultans, having secured two wins out of three matches played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The team is currently placed second on the points table and also holds the best net run rate in the competition so far. The team’s training schedule will be shared in due course.
