‘Euphoria’ season 3 teaser sparks Sydney Sweeney feud speculations

Published on: March 13, 2026 5:56 PM

The cast of Euphoria has ignited rumours of a feud with Sydney Sweeney following the release of a new Season 3 teaser. The photoshoot prominently featured Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Maude Apatow, and Alexa Demie, while Sweeney was absent from the group shot. Fans quickly noticed the omission and reignited discussions about past tensions between the cast members.

Speculations first emerged last year after Sweeney’s “great genes” controversy, which reportedly created friction on set. Although there was no official confirmation of conflict, insiders had suggested at the time that Zendaya was reluctant to appear in promotional material alongside Sweeney, fueling online debate.

However, sources close to the production clarified that Sweeney was engaged in filming another scene during the group photoshoot. The actress later appeared in a solo shot, smiling for the camera, with a caption celebrating small moments transformed into bigger ones, reassuring fans of her continued involvement.

Jacob Elordi also made a brief appearance in the teaser, teasing his role in the upcoming season. The Season 3 premiere is scheduled for April 12, and HBO Max has confirmed that the teaser is part of the promotional campaign ahead of the launch.

Social media users quickly analyzed the teaser, drawing conclusions about cast dynamics. While some celebrated Sweeney’s absence from the group shot, others defended her, noting that scheduling conflicts were likely responsible and that no official rift has been confirmed by the cast or creators.

The teaser continues to generate buzz online, keeping fans engaged as anticipation builds for the new season. Viewers are now eagerly awaiting the premiere to see the cast’s interactions and how the storyline unfolds across the highly anticipated episodes.
