FMH College of Medicine and Dentistry (FMHCMD) proudly hosted the White Coat Ceremony for the 25th batch of BDS students (Session 2025-26), marking an important milestone in the students’ academic and professional journey in dentistry.
The ceremony was graced by Prof. Dr. Abid Ashar, Principal, FMH College of Dentistry, and Prof. Dr. Faisal Izhar, Vice-Principal, FMH College of Dentistry, who addressed the students and highlighted the importance of professional integrity, clinical excellence, and continuous learning in the evolving field of dental healthcare.
Special addresses were delivered by Mrs. Shahima T. Rehman, Chairperson of the NUR-Fatima Memorial System, and Ms. Maha Rehman, Co-Founder of the NUR Foundation and Member, Board of Governors, NUR International University. They emphasized the responsibility that comes with wearing the white coat and encouraged students to uphold ethical practice, compassion, and a patient-centered approach while contributing positively to society through their profession.
The ceremony, attended by faculty members, parents, and distinguished guests, formally welcomed the incoming dental students into the profession and symbolized their commitment to the core values of ethics, professionalism, empathy, and quality patient care.
