Former Prime Minister Imran Khan is in good health after a successful 20-minute eye procedure, officials confirmed. The procedure took place at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) after Khan gave written consent. Federal Minister Attaullah Tarar reassured the public that his vitals remained stable throughout the treatment.
According to Tarar, an eye specialist first examined Khan in Adiala jail. The doctor recommended a minor medical procedure to prevent further complications. Khan was shifted to PIMS last Saturday night and returned to jail after recovery instructions were given.

The minister emphasized that the procedure followed medical recommendations strictly. He stated all prisoners are entitled to proper healthcare under established rules. Tarar dismissed any claims that Khan’s condition posed serious health risks, calling him “absolutely fine and healthy.”
This update comes after Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) raised concerns about Khan’s eye health. The party claimed he suffered from central retinal vein occlusion, which could affect vision permanently. PTI urged urgent medical attention to prevent long-term damage.
