Massive US naval fleet heads toward Iran: Trump

Published on: January 28, 2026 6:29 PM

US President Donald Trump warned that a massive naval fleet is rapidly heading toward Iran with full force and a clear mission. He said the fleet is led by the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln and is larger than the one sent to Venezuela. Trump urged Iran to come to the negotiating table for a fair, nuclear-free deal.

Speaking on social media, Trump emphasized the fleet’s readiness to complete its mission if necessary, including the use of force. He compared the operation to the Venezuela deployment, saying this fleet is capable of swift action. Trump highlighted that time is running out and called the matter “extremely important” for regional stability. He reminded that previous warnings to Iran went unheeded, leading to the “Midnight Hammer” operation, which caused significant damage.

Trump further stressed that failure to negotiate could lead to an even more severe military response. He expressed hope that Iran would act quickly to avoid unnecessary escalation. The president underscored that any agreement must be equitable and benefit all parties while ensuring no nuclear weapons development.

The announcement follows rising tensions between the US and Iran over nuclear activities and regional influence. Trump’s remarks indicate Washington is preparing both diplomatic and military pressure to push Tehran toward negotiations. Observers say the situation could further destabilize the Middle East if talks fail.

Trump concluded by warning that the next military action would be stronger than before if Iran does not comply. The US naval buildup reflects an urgent push for immediate resolution. Analysts continue monitoring developments as the fleet advances toward Iranian waters.
