
At least seven people were killed in a suspected suicide bombing targeting a wedding near Qureshi Mor in Dera Ismail Khan. Several others were critically injured, and victims were rushed to DHQ Hospital for treatment. Authorities cordoned off the site and collected forensic evidence.
The deceased include Advocate Abdul Majeed Laagri Mehsud, Waheed Jigri, Rehmanullah, Shehzad Abdulai, Inayatullah, and Chota Waheed. Six injured individuals, including Noor Alam Mehsud and Sohail Khan Burki, are undergoing treatment. Investigators are analyzing ballistics evidence and recording survivor statements.

Police suspect a suicide attacker carried out the bombing, but the investigation is ongoing. Law enforcement emphasized that a final determination will be made after forensic results are complete. The site remains under strict security control.
The District Bar Association announced a day of mourning in memory of Advocate Mehsud. Judicial proceedings were suspended in protest over insufficient citizen security. The legal community called for stronger measures to protect civilians.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemned the attack, expressing deep sorrow over the loss of lives. He offered condolences to families, prayed for the injured, and vowed that perpetrators of such acts will face justice.
