Rani Mukerji praised for powerful performance in ‘Mardaani 3’

Veteran Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji has received widespread praise from her peers for her role in Mardaani 3, set to release later this month. Fellow actors and filmmakers, including Alia Bhatt and Anil Kapoor, took to social media to congratulate the actress on her latest performance.

Alia Bhatt shared the teaser for Mardaani 3 on Instagram, writing, “30 years of unforgettable performances and now one more! Cannot wait to watch Mardaani 3!” Fans are also eagerly awaiting Bhatt’s own thrilling performance in her upcoming film Alpha, produced by Yash Raj Films.

Anil Kapoor, who has previously worked with Rani in films such as Nayak: The Real Hero and Calcutta Mail, lauded her for her enduring talent. “You continue to be accessible, sellable, tradable, watchable and above all, truly brilliant as an actress, friend and human being! Always rooting for you. Absolutely thrilling! Shivani Shivaji Roy is back and fiercer than ever. Can’t wait for Mardaani 3,” Kapoor wrote.

Other Bollywood stars, including Ayushmann Khurrana and Rhea Kapoor, also shared their congratulations, praising Rani’s commitment and energy as she returns to the screen in the iconic role of Shivani Shivaji Roy.

The official trailer, released on Monday, has already amassed nearly 5 million views on YouTube, generating significant buzz ahead of the global theatrical release on January 30.

Mardaani 3 continues the story of Rani’s strong and fearless police officer, promising audiences a mix of suspense, action, and social commentary. Fans have expressed excitement at seeing the actress reprise a character that has become a benchmark for female-led action films in Bollywood.
