Russia described the action as an “act of armed aggression” and urged dialogue to prevent escalation. Spain offered to mediate for a peaceful solution, emphasizing de-escalation and respect for international law.

Italy highlighted that about 160,000 Italians live in Venezuela and mobilized crisis units to assist them.
The US strike followed months of military and economic pressure on Venezuela and its oil-dependent economy. Venezuelan Defence Minister Vladimir Padrino vowed to resist foreign troops.
