Actions against smoke-emitting vehicles and polluting industries remained in place. Brick kilns were closely monitored to ensure compliance with environmental laws.

She added that continuous monitoring led to measurable improvement in air quality across the city. Authorities urged residents to exercise caution while driving in low visibility. Patients and sensitive groups were advised to wear face masks for protection.
The Punjab Health Department issued guidance on precautionary measures during fog and smog episodes. They stressed limiting outdoor exposure and following safety measures to reduce health risks. Public awareness campaigns were also ongoing to ensure compliance.
