The announcement follows more than a week of carefully planned teasing on social media. An Instagram post from December 8 showed visuals from the song’s cover shoot, while a Talwiinder track played subtly in the background, prompting fans to guess the featured artist.

A second post on December 14 revealed the song’s title and release date. However, the collaborator’s name was partially concealed, with only the letters “Ta” visible, further fueling curiosity among listeners.

With the reveal now official, anticipation has grown around what the two artists have created together. Fans have welcomed the collaboration as another notable cross-border musical project.

The cover art for Sachay Loki features Shafi and Talwiinder standing back to back against the striking image of a total solar eclipse. Shafi appears in a shimmering outfit paired with a chain-style headpiece, while Talwiinder is seen wearing his trademark face paint and bandana.

Both artists bring experience in cross-border work. Shafi previously appeared in Bollywood, including a supporting role in the 2012 biographical film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, marking her brief but memorable presence in Indian cinema.

Talwiinder, meanwhile, has found major musical success in Pakistan through collaborations. His song Wishes with Hasan Raheem ranked among the country’s top 10 most-streamed tracks in 2024 and 2025, while his rendition of Pal Pal also performed strongly on Spotify.
