Pakistan sends 100 tons of aid to Gaza via Egypt

Published on: October 13, 2025 7:00 PM

Pakistan has dispatched its 24th relief shipment to Gaza, carrying 100 tons of humanitarian aid through Egypt. According to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), the aid was sent under the directive of Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar. The consignment was delivered in coordination with Alkhidmat Foundation and departed from Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport.

This latest shipment includes essential food supplies for Palestinian families affected by the ongoing conflict. The NDMA spokesperson confirmed that the package contains ration bags filled with wheat flour, rice, cooking oil, chickpeas, cooked meals, and canned fruits. The relief goods aim to support civilians struggling with food shortages in the war-hit Gaza region.

The NDMA emphasized the consistent efforts being made by Pakistan to assist the people of Gaza. With this shipment, the total aid sent by Pakistan through 24 consignments now stands at 2,327 tons. The authority reaffirmed its commitment to continuing humanitarian support based on needs and government directives.

Earlier aid batches also included medical supplies, blankets, and hygiene kits. These items were distributed in coordination with Egyptian and Palestinian authorities at the Rafah border. Aid agencies have praised Pakistan’s consistent response, especially in times when Gaza faces heightened humanitarian crises.
