The prime minister paid tribute to the Palestinian people, acknowledging their immense suffering and resilience amid years of occupation and violence. He said the world must never allow such tragedies to repeat and urged the international community to ensure accountability for those responsible. Shehbaz described the humanitarian crisis in Gaza as one of the gravest in modern history, underscoring that the agreement should also prioritize relief, rehabilitation, and justice for the victims.
However, the premier also expressed grave concern over the recent provocations at Masjid Al Aqsa, condemning them as deliberate attempts to derail peace efforts. He stressed that the world must hold the occupiers and illegal settlers accountable for actions that threaten regional stability. According to him, such incidents not only violate international norms but also undermine the trust built through months of negotiation and diplomatic engagement.
Shehbaz reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause, pledging continued cooperation with friendly nations to uphold justice and peace in the Middle East. He said Pakistan will work alongside global and regional partners to safeguard the dignity, security, and rights of the Palestinian people in accordance with UN resolutions.
