Despite peace plan, Israeli forces maintain offensive in Gaza city

Published on: October 4, 2025 4:04 PM

Israeli forces continue their operations in Gaza City despite ongoing peace efforts. The military warned civilians not to return to the city. The area remains a dangerous war zone due to active military actions. Officials urged residents to move south for their safety. The Israeli army stressed that ongoing operations aim to secure the area from militant threats.

The Israeli military spokesman told Palestinians to avoid returning to the northern parts of Gaza. He also warned against approaching active military zones. The spokesman advised civilians to move southward away from conflict areas. This move intends to protect residents from the escalating violence. The military emphasized these warnings to reduce civilian casualties during operations.

Meanwhile, the recent 20-point peace plan proposed by the U.S. president received partial acceptance from Hamas. Despite this, Israeli forces maintain their offensive actions in Gaza City. U.S. media reported Israel would transform its military approach in Gaza. However, ground operations in the city continue amid security concerns. This shows the complexity of achieving an immediate ceasefire in the region.

Hamas agreed to hand over Gaza’s administration to Palestinian technocrats. They also offered to release all Israeli prisoners. Yet, the issue of disarmament remains unresolved in their response. Both sides expressed readiness for peace talks through mediators. Still, the situation on the ground remains tense with ongoing clashes.

In conclusion, Gaza City remains under intense military activity despite peace negotiations. Israeli forces warn civilians to evacuate for their safety. The conflict continues as both sides negotiate amid violence. International observers watch closely for any breakthrough toward lasting peace. The coming days will be crucial for the future of Gaza and the region.
