Ayesha Bibi, the abducted girl, lost both parents and lived with relatives. Her family described themselves as poor and powerless. They said they lacked resources to fight against the influence of local power holders and demanded immediate government action.
Family elder Maulvi Rehmatullah Zehri said officials were not supporting them. He claimed the family identified the suspects and their locations. However, instead of acting on this information, the Assistant Commissioner of Khuzdar allegedly threatened them and asked them to stay quiet.
The relatives further accused powerful elements of protecting the kidnappers. They said justice was being denied and officials were obstructing their pleas. They stressed that ignoring the case encouraged lawlessness and exposed the misuse of power by influential people in the region.
