Six PTI leaders scheduled to meet Imran Khan at Adiala jail

Published on: July 31, 2025 11:22 AM

A list of six Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders has been submitted to Adiala Jail authorities for a scheduled meeting with PTI founder Imran Khan. The meeting is set for Thursday, according to party sources.

Coordinator Intizar Panjotha sent the list to the jail officials, ensuring the names of the leaders were officially registered. The list includes Atif Chaudhry, Mazhar Barlas, Rana Aurangzeb, Sardar Muhammad Ali, Sohail Sultan, and Waqas Iftikhar.

These party leaders are expected to visit Adiala Jail today to hold discussions with Imran Khan. This meeting is part of regular weekly visits allowed to party members, reinforcing internal communication during Khan’s incarceration.

The scheduled meeting is significant as it provides an opportunity for PTI leaders to discuss ongoing political strategies and party matters directly with their founder. It also highlights the continued support for Khan from his close associates.

Security and administrative arrangements have been made to facilitate the visit smoothly, with jail authorities coordinating with the party representatives. The meeting aims to strengthen the party’s unity amid ongoing political challenges.

This visit underscores the importance of maintaining dialogue within PTI’s leadership during a critical period. It also reflects the party’s commitment to keeping its founder engaged in decision-making despite his confinement.
