Gold jumps by Rs2,300 per tola in Pakistan

Published on: July 11, 2025 5:51 PM

Gold prices in Pakistan rebounded sharply on Friday, gaining Rs2,300 per tola, according to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA). The increase brought the price of 24-karat gold per tola to Rs357,000, aligning with gains seen in the international market.

Meanwhile, 10 grams of gold were priced at Rs306,069, up Rs1,971 from the previous session. This marks a recovery from Thursday, when gold had experienced a Rs3,200 drop, closing at Rs354,700 per tola.

In the global market, the price of gold also rose, reaching $3,345 per ounce, including a $20 premium, which reflects a $21 day-on-day increase. Analysts suggest that ongoing economic uncertainty and fluctuations in the dollar are contributing to gold’s recent volatility.

In addition to gold, silver prices in the local market also surged. Silver per tola increased by Rs86, bringing its price to Rs3,937.

Market watchers are keeping a close eye on international signals and domestic currency trends, which are expected to continue influencing bullion prices in the days ahead.
