
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack on a security forces convoy in North Waziristan. In their official statements, both leaders paid tribute to the martyred personnel and reaffirmed the state’s commitment to eradicating terrorism from the country.
President Zardari expressed deep grief and said that the armed forces will continue their operations until terrorism is completely eliminated. He honored the sacrifices made by the soldiers and stressed that their courage will not go in vain.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif described the incident as a cowardly act carried out by India-backed terrorists. He assured the nation that the government remains fully determined to wipe out every form of terrorism and ensure national security at all costs.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also expressed solidarity with the families of the martyrs, stating that the nation stands firmly with them in this time of sorrow. He pledged continued support and recognition for their sacrifices.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said the martyrs will forever live in the nation’s hearts. Sindh’s Senior Minister Sharjeel Memon echoed the sentiment, stating that the people of Pakistan will respond to such attacks with unity and unwavering resolve.
