QUETTA: Balochistan Assembly on Monday unanimously passed a resolution demanding provincial government to declare Ziarat as tourism zone. Addressing its session in the provincial capital, Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri said the incumbent government has already released Rs one billion for the beatification of Ziarat district. He said government wants to provide all facilities in Ziarat to attract more tourists in the area. The chief minister said that Quaid’s residency at Ziarat has been restored after terrorists destroyed the national asset. He said that forests in Ziarat must be preserved to save the nature, adding the hotels and resorts have been constructed with state-of-the-art facilities to attract visitors there.
